THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE YOUR SENIOR PORTRAIT SESSION...Most seniors schedule their senior portrait sessions the summer and fall before their senior year. If you are allowed to send your image to your high school to be included in your yearbook you may want to check on the due date. Every school is different.

Each year more and more schools are allowing images from outside photographers to be sent in for use in the yearbook. Don't be fooled by a prearranged appointment postcard you may have received with wording that seems to say you cannot.
If you attend a public school below is the law for the state of Massachusetts
"The Department of the Attorney General has declared that public schools prohibiting students from using a nonofficial photographer to produce their senior portraits is in violation of the Massachusetts Antitrust Act, General Law Chapter 93, Section 4."

Some private schools may have different rules. Be sure to check with your school office directly

HOW TO SCHEDULE MY SESSION...You may either call me at the studio at 978.658.5557 or email me at There is also a Contact page on this website and you can email me there as well. Once we speak and determine which session best suits your need we will decide on the date and the optimal time of day for the best lighting.

WHAT YOUR SESSION WILL INCLUDE...Each Senior Session will include the photographers time and talent, image processing, a post session viewing and order consultation as well as a digital image with basic facial retouching sent to your high school for use in your yearbook if allowed. You must provide the contact information

WHAT YOU SHOULD WEAR...You can of course wear whatever you feel comfortable in, however the classics are my favorites, white, ivory, navy, grey. Avoid logos and strong patterns bright red and some greens as well as yellows can clash with the foliage.

You may choose up to 3 wardrobe selections in both the "On Location" and "Traditional Senior Sessions" and 1 wardrobe selection for the "Mini Senior Session" I recommend a variety of colors and styles if you are opting for the Traditional Session or On Location Session. If you are having trouble deciding, feel free to bring one or two additional choices with you and I can recommend what I think will photograph best.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU HAVE TO RESCHEDULE...I am happy to reschedule for any reason, I just ask that you give me as much notice as possible. It is a really busy time of year and I typically book out 2-3 weeks in advance.

In the event of inclement weather, we will simply reschedule, I will call you a day or two ahead of your appointment to confirm and we can discuss the weather situation at that time.

IMAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA...Once you complete your session and I receive permission from you I will post a "Photographers Favorite" image on my studio Facebook Page and/or Instagram. Once you place your portrait order, I will post your senior portrait as a bonus! You are welcome to share them where ever you would like. I would simply ask you to share from my page on Facebook or include the hashtag #leannesstudio on Instagram. It is a great way for me to build my business!




On Location Senior Portrait Session

Creation Fee starting at $275
Most beach locations $325
Choose a beach, garden, ocean or city setting
60-90 minutes of photography
Up to 3 Wardrobe selections

I am happy to include 15 miles of travel with $0.60/per mile for additional travel
Any parking fees incurred will be added onto the total session fee
50% non-refundable deposit required to reserve an On Location Session.

In the event of inclement weather your session will be rescheduled and the deposit of course will be applied.


Traditional Senior Portrait Session

Creation Fee $115
In studio and/or outdoor photography on site. Weather permitting
45-50 minutes of photography
Up to 3 wardrobe selections


Mini Senior Portrait Session

Creation Fee $75
In studio and/or outdoor photography on site. Weather permitting
15 minutes of photography
1 wardrobe selection
